Guessing I don’t need to check out little Eddie’s picture or his ‘hood or if daddy or big brother owed a drug dealer or was in a gang or if demonrats are running St. Louis.

Sorry, Eddie, but you had a sorry excuse for a dad and he’s the reason your life was cut short. If he had married your mama and moved the family out of da hood, you’d have had a good chance at a nice long and happy life.

In her narrative of innocence betrayed, Anita Hassan forgot to tell us WHY the father was targeted. The propaganda piece is so uninformative that we don’t know if he was killed for singing too loud at church, or handing out too much alms to the poor, or working too hard, or even belonging to the “other” drug gang. Did he have a criminal record? It’s hard to understand these incidents without facts.

I’ll give her credit for trying to gin up some community concern when the problem is obviously internal. But too much of that community is invested in not fixing the problem.

St. Louis has been in the Top Five of American cities with major crime for quite some time.

The boy who was killed, 10-year-old Eddie Hill IV, had been standing on the porch with his father at about 8:30 p.m. when shots were fired from a passing SUV. Eddie, who was so smart, relatives told reporters, that he’d skipped a grade, was hit in the chest.

So who was the target here? His father? Brother? Uncle? Who owned the house?
I don't think these shooting are usually 100% random.. There's generally some kind of reason they pick a certain house to drive-by.
