Storm chasing in the Midwest is at the top of my bucket list. Watching Ty’s video really ramps up the yearning.

LUV, you need to check this out!

Storm chasing has become so sensationalized that it's not worth doing any more.

The roads are so jam packed with tornado chasers that it's not worth it.

FWIW, I was at a Skywarn meeting and the guy from the NWS confirmed this.

I have been in 2 tornados over the past 30 years living in Kansas. The first one on March 13, 1990 drove me into a cellar with strangers south of Hutchinson. This was the famous F5 Hesston tornado. The university building I was in took a direct hit in June 2008. Fortunately, myself and seven other people took shelter in a meat locker/classroom. When it hit, my ears popped. Just two weeks ago, I drove through a wall cloud heading north back to Manhattan. Yes, it was stupid but I wanted to get home. Not bragging but I beg to differ w you. Tornados are terrifying and not meant to be screwed with.
