Capturing photos and video like this would have been a dream job for me. I can always appreciate the beauty and force in nature, and it was very well captured here.
Lovely, and well done!

landscape photographer by professionI found landscape photography even safer than being a Coast Guard land guy. Except for the occasional tornado.

Storm chasing in the Midwest is at the top of my bucket list. Watching Ty’s video really ramps up the yearning.

Fast Company website is very strange. I click on it, it loads, then suddenly disappears. Anyone else have this problem?

Get some 3rd party software, update it and clean your machine.

Breathtaking .... , Gods artistry is beyond words . Very well done time lapse film.

I knew you’d enjoy it. Awesome storms though I don’t know that being directly underneath would be much fun.
Yep, got a few cool scaps and am trying to decide which one to use as new desktop wallpaper. LOL

I loved those layered clouds in rotation. I see a lot of them on storm chasers, but seeing it at fast speed really shows off the rotation.
It would be hard to choose just one. Make a collage of them. :)

Thanks. Thats great, even if it did bring back a couple of scary memories from my time growing up in Iowa.

Watching mesocyclones wind up and stack in tiers is mesmerizing.
That was an excellent video, thank you.

Yeah, in real-time, the rotation isn’t quite as noticeable. Sped up like they are in the video - - oooo-la-la!!
No collage. I change wallpaper fairly often so I’ll just do one at a time. LOL! Currently I have a scap from Charles’ most recent “tour” of his hidden orchid garden.
