An NFL team has offered women’s soccer star Carli Lloyd the chance to become the first woman to kick in an NFL preseason game, after she drilled a 55-yard field goal at the Eagle’s training camp.
Why the NFL would put a woman in a position of being injured is anyone’s guess.
Lloyd uncorked her kick after being invited to the Philadelphia Eagles training session last week, and video of the kick went viral, Fox Sports reported.
This week, Lloyd’s trainer, James Galanis, noted that the soccer star had been approached by several other NFL teams to play for them in a preseason game.
“The one that called today, I don’t want to say who it is, was willing to put her on the roster for their next (game). They were willing to put her on the roster,” Galanis told Fox Sports.
However, that deal may not occur. “She was told (she could) play on Thursday, the NFL game, but she is playing Thursday with the national team, so that was the conflict,” the trainer added.

That would be the final straw for the NFL.
Let’s see her make that kick wearing 20 lbs. of pads, helmet, equipment, while ten 300 lb. guys are rushing at her. Not that she can’t, but this is hardly representative of the field conditions under which she’d play.
I don’t know if she can take a hit from a 300 lb offensive lineman without getting damaged.
That person has more testosterone than a lot of guys.

Is she a lesbian? Has she beaten her “wife”? Will she kneel when the National Anthem plays?
If so - she’s perfect for the NFL.

You can’t waste a spot on the roster for Just a field goal kicker.

The NFL should require teams to fill their rosters with at least 50% women. There should also be LGBTQ representation, people with disabilities, senior citizens, undocumented immigrants, and the cheerleaders should also represent a cross cultural mix of perversity, I mean diversity.
I guess we'll see.

A good choice to take a good, solid roughing the kicker penalty to see if a 40-ish he-dyke could take a hit, instead of parading out some under-hung fembot to get a virtual freebie play to further the NFL's grotesque social agenda. Bread and circuses. Let the sport die.

They could probably find a tranny that could kick even farther. Sign a guy who thinks he’s a girl. Don’t have to worry about a chick getting injured... win/win
I would have to disagree. The direction the nfl is taking would require special rules for her while on the field.
