It’s going to start happening more and more, players still in their 20s who could probably last another 5-6 years will start saying, “I don’t need this anymore.”
Why on earth would that happen?
Maybe guys with real degrees who didn’t burn through their money but there are a MILLION more who have NOTHING else to offer and blow their money as fast as it comes in.
You make a couple millions and then you’re out. I think Gronk could play for New England for 2 or 3 more years but he’s already too banged up.
