Pro-Abortion Congressman Seth Moulton Drops Out of Democrat Presidential Race

Another bottom tier Democrat has dropped out of the race for president — and this time it’s pro-abortion Congressman Seth Moulton of Massachusetts. In April Moulton joined the crowded group of Democratic Party 2020 hopefuls, saying he is running for president in 2020 against President Donald Trump, who has governed pro-life.

But today he ended his bid unsurprisingly.

Moulton is the third Democrat to drop out of the presidential race this past week following Jay Inslee and John Hickenlooper. Moulton will formally end his candidacy Friday when he gives a speech at the DNC in San Fransisco.

“Today, I want to use this opportunity, with all of you here, to announce that I am ending my campaign for president,” he will say, according to CNN, citing his prepared remarks. “Though this campaign is not ending the way we hoped, I am leaving this race knowing that we raised issues that are vitally important to the American people and our future.” “I will continue to fight for a new generation of leadership in our party and our country,” the remarks continue. “And most of all, I will be campaigning my ass off for whoever wins our nomination in 2020.” But Moulton has been an aggressive fighter for abortion.

Not only does Moulton have a 100-percent pro-abortion voting record like the other Democrat presidential candidates, he also sponsored a radical pro-abortion bill that would have legalized abortions for basically any reason up to birth.

The so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act” was introduced in Congress in 2017, with dozens of Democrat sponsors, including likely presidential candidates Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kristen Gillibrand and Bernie Sanders.

Nicknamed the “Abortion Without Limits Until Birth Act” by pro-life groups, the bill would have invalidated nearly all state and federal abortion regulations, including waiting periods, informed consent requirements, bans on late-term abortions and sex-selection abortions and more.

The congressman has also failed to speak out against Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats blocking a request by Republicans to vote on a similar bill to require medical care and treatment for babies who survive abortions. He has failed to sign a Discharge Petition allowing a vote on the bill on the House floor — tat puts him on record supporting their decision to allow infanticide to continue unprosecuted.

Clowns like Moulton must have egos larger than Mt. Everest. They seem to have such an exaggerated opinion of themselves. Then they run for the highest office in the land and fail so miserably that one has to wonder if their own spouse would vote for them. There are about twenty such individuals on the Democrat list of candidates.

Not that it matters, but I was curious why Marie Harf (former Obama State Dept spokesperson and Fox News contributor) left Fox News to join Seth Moulton’s campaign. Does she and Seth have a thing?
