The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now aware of 153 possible cases of severe lung disease in 16 states that could be caused by vaping, the agency said Wednesday in an update to a multi-state investigation.
The cases -- reported from June 28 to August 20, 2019 -- have popped up in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin. They have primarily affected adolescents and young adults.
This is an increase from Saturday, when CDC announced it was looking into 94 possible cases in 14 states. At the time, a CNN survey of state health departments concluded there were more than 120 cases in at least 15 states.

There’s right around 200x that number of cases of Lyme disease in the United States every year, and nothing is done about the disease vectors, which are easily identifiable and controllable.
Lyme disease can cause life-changing health problems if not treated quickly.
DDT.................
Yup.
The disease vectors have civil rights.
Yep
But who can the Trial Lawyers sue for the Lyme disease cases?
Lyme disease seems like no good for anyone.
But lawyers got to eat/s
What about the Bird Eggs?
Talk about hypocracy, that was one of the most racist acts in history.
Exactly! Follow the money.
So now we have vapers and cigarette smokers, patches, gum....
All MONEY makers.
It helps if you read the article.

I had a student that smoked so much high-concentration THC that she developed “scromiting” or screaming while vomiting. Apparently the high amounts of THC caused her to vomit uncontrollably for a month. They had to hospitalize her and put her on an IV.
It's such a "severe" "disease" that they can't even tell you what it is.
Screaming and vomiting "uncontrollably for a month" from THC... lol - do you tell people these fairy tales in real life?
I'd hate to be a student of whatever you teach if you come up with some s**t like this.
Nothing more than another ploy to “justify” government intervention. To save us, they’ll tax, regulate and control it.
While vapping may be harmful, this handful of cases does not prove it is the cause of these lung problems. Correlation is not proof of causation especially with anecdotal evidence in so few cases. There should be serious epidemiological studies done before jumping to conclusions. Smoking has been so vilified that anything resembling smoking must be bad by association. The case for health damage from so-called second hand smoke I also believe is nebulous especially how the anti smoking zealots are using it to ban smoking in public places. For example there are state and regional parks that ban tobacco use, ostensibly to protect against the dangers of second hand smoke, yet allow campfires which likely pose a far greater risk of lung damage.
Ok. That sounds extreme. But there is an entity called Cyclic vomiting that is associated with frequent THC use. It causes fairly severe difficult to control vomiting. Weve seen an increase in it nationwide in ERs.

If people smoked cigarettes they way these kids vape, the carbon monoxide alone would kill them.

It’s called cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, friend.
