The one of her sitting with her on a park bench is awesome.

Oh man, big boys don’t cry...
Apparently you want to back to the good old days when the Taliban provided the training camps for Bin Laden and al Qaeda. You know, the wonderful times when Afghan men, women and children were executed en masse for violating some crazy Islamic rule or another.
The Russians were there to impose their rule on Afghanistan. Were there to end that base for Islamic terrorism and to give them the stability to have their own government minus the executions.
I really hate the Draft Dodger wing of the FreeRepublic.
you’re right, out of Afghanistan - yesterday!
Leftist.
Had me fighting tears in a steak house. Had to show to the waitress who immediately geared up too. God bless that young lady
Bump!
Don’t be the turd in the punchbowl. What she did is beautiful. If you don’t like it, no biggie, you’re not the focus of it anyway.

I'm one of those guys in the business suit...
Every year around Memorial day when we lived in the D.C. area, my son, "Ace" and I would go down to the Vietnam Wall to pay tribute to the two shipmates I lost over there.
I wasnt being a turd in the punch bowl. She paid good money for those shots. They are not done well.
I was fortunate inasmuch as having served in VN aboard ship early on ‘before’ we were there.
When Jf’nK ran for Pres about the ONLY thing I truly believed from his mouth was him saying he was in Cambodia around Christmas ‘68(?)...
We did have a habit of it taking MANY years for our Gov to admit and credit us for certain actions..early VN, Laos, etc were only admitted to when ‘they’ couldn’t cover it up anymore...
OK, we just disagree then.

I noticed she has his dog tags on.
Wow. Really like the one sitting on the bench with her Father. I used to go for walks in a park that used to be the old Rocklin (California) granite quarry. There was a memorial there to a local man who died in the Vietnam war. He was a helicopter pilot. I always saluted as I walked by. Looks so similar to the area where she is sitting on the bench with her father.
