The irrational protection of sea mammals has resulted in the up surge of sea mammal predators. So if the occasional human gets bit or killed just chalk it up to environmental craziness which made the irrational law.
They definitely need some Inuit people there...
Maybe some Japanese.
And whoever else likes to eat seal blubber.
