When I was a young kid, our neighbor was a Plymouth dealer. He used to drive cars from the dealership home all the time. One time, I remember him bringing a bright yellow Superbird home. As a 7 year old kid, I was awestruck. He might as well have had a fighter jet sitting in the driveway as far as I was concerned.
I also remember seeing that Superbird sitting prominently in the front window of his dealership for quite a while after that. Every time we drove past I was still in awe. It was like a real-life Hot Wheels car.
