It couldn’t be that it’s because movies are mostly made by Hollywood Leftists. They can’t help but inject their ideologies into their so called art.

Or prior to Hollywood's dramatic shift to the Left in the 1950s and afterward. By 1960, John Wayne & Ronald Reagan were already exceptions, as it were! Conservatives do not like to sit still, when they are being deliberately propagandized.

Democrats apparently like to be lectured to on screen by liberal Hollywood biggits more than Republicans do.

PING!

Even The Return of the King had a typical Hollywood moment when that fine lady warrior, played by Miranda Otto, slayed that awful, darf-looking critter. The critter said to her, "No man has defeated me." She replied, "I am no man," before running him through with her sword. I almost groaned out loud.

You go, grrl?

They have not tried to keep their extreme bias out of the product. The product has been deliberately propagandized, since the 1950s:

The multi decade effort made the Clinton & Obama Administrations possible, while very heavily influencing the confused ideology of the Bush II Administration.

Miranda Otto wielding a sword?

Sorry, her meter maid character from "Danny Deckchair" sticks in my mind.

At least in my case this is true. The last movie I saw in a theater was the Churchill flick “Darkest Hour.” I can’t remember the last time before that. I almost always prefer books.

Shows that Republicans generally have better taste and higher IQ’s than Demonrats.

Anyone who would spend $9 for a small bag of popcorn is the perfect recruit for the dems. I’m surprised they don’t do voter registration drives in the lobby.

As a millennial, I enjoy the experience of a night out at the movies and a bag of popcorn, but I don’t like 90% of what Hollywood vomits up. It’s all “woke” superheroes, raunchy comedies, dramas that assume the audience is dumber than dirt, etc. And in terms of political slant, it’s all leftist politics inserted in the most absurd of ways. If Frozen 2 has Elsa stop, turn to the audience, and say, “(BLEEP) Trump!”, no one here will be the least bit surprised.

This is very different from the better ages of Hollywood. It’s not just that there were more moderates and conservatives that had voices in that industry back then. The leftists of that day were better thinkers than the crazy folks of today. If they wanted to include a message, it would be done so with a bit of craft. And many actors had totally messed up private lives, but people weren’t exposed to it 24/7 like we are today.

Thank God for TCM.

I loved They Shall Not Grow Old.

I don’t go to movies because they have been insulting my intelligence since the mid-80’s. Why spend my money on plot lines that are tired, characters that are shallow and the spew of filth considered “dialog” that reveals that movie writers are nothing more than adolescent degenerates?

In addition to the obvious fact that Hollywood is a highly-left biased entity that routinely insults Americans, Christians, men, etc., there is also the factor that Hollywood is full of bumbling incompetents who don’t have the slightest inkling how the real world works, and so make movies with instance after instance of ridiculousness that are jarring to anyone with half a brain.

What is most peculiar about left-wingers, when it comes to movies, is that they will, at the same time, say “Lolollllzz it’s just a movie!” when confronted with blatant technical inaccuracies or impossibilities in a movie, but will embrace the message completely, as if they are watching real life play out. So if the movie shows one woman slaughtering 20 white male Christians with her bare hands because they were trying to rape her, the leftwing nutbag will say “So what if she kicked 20 guys’ asses! It’s just a movie” while also saying “See? White male Christians are all rapists!” While this demographic is famous for its cognitive dissonance, when it comes to movies, they exceed even the grandest expectations.

That said, I am often disappointed in my fellow conservatives in that so many still insist on feeding the beast - they subscribe to cable, Netflix, whatever, and attend movies regularly. I do watch some movies, myself, but almost never in a way that results in any money finding its way into the pocket of Hollywood. How that is done will be left as an exercise for the reader.

Maybe if they made more movies that sane people would want to see, the numbers would be different.

Back in the ‘80s I went to three movies a week, on average. In the 90s it was maybe one a week. in the 00s it was maybe three a year. in the 10s it has been zero; There just haven’t been many movies that I was even slightly interested. in. And those few, I could wait until they came out on regular TV, or buy the DVD

I haven’t gone to a movie in five or six years. Maybe. I’d rather watch something at home, which is much more comfortable.

“Democrats go to the movies twice as much as Republicans, a new study finds. “

Why was this study deemed necessary and who paid for it?

That had a bit of a flow to it, though. The End Game scene was a frikkin’ speed bump non-sequitur.

Movies are very old-school in delivery; large buildings filled with people, and the operators make more money off popcorn and soda than movie ticket receipts. And the movies rely heavily on cartoon technology much more developed than what "Roger Rabbit" used.

Today almost every cable channel makes their own. They are the "Republic" studios of the 21st century. You can watch them in your own place, on your own schedule, with your own popcorn, or snack of choice. And less reliance on cartoon tech for special effects.

Endgame nearly undid it’s entire experience with that force, speed-bump of a scene where all of the women heroes banded together to try to defeat Thanos.

But then Thanos, a male, defeated them all. He was then defeated by a single man.
