We'll probably never know what happened. The people who are capable of taking Epstein out know how to take care of loose ends.

I have a hard time believing that Epstein would check himself out before the trial. Once he figured out he wasn't going to beat this case, guys like him love the attention a trial would bring. Think Aaron Hernandez.

Does anyone smell a cover up or is it just me?

Is there anyone who DOESN'T smell a cover-up? An actual suicide would have little deterrent value to others who know stuff.

You can't go out in the deep woods any more without wondering if you're being videotaped [game cameras EVERYWHERE].

But the tape is ALWAYS missing in stuff like the Jepstein "suicide" and the Vegas mass shooting...

This reminds me of one of my favorite movie scenes, from “The Big Easy.” Dennis Quaid is a crooked cop, and they have video of him taking a bribe, it’s a slam dunk.

So what does he do? He gets an industrial strength magnet, wears a disguise, and casually tosses it through a window of a store. Now the magnet is evidence.

His fellow cops, knowing he needs to be bailed out. Place the magnet in the evidence room directly on top of the videotape evidence of his crime.

Come his day in court, the tape is mysteriously blank. Case dismissed!

Duuuuh! Can you imagine the outrage if cameras were pointed into cells invading inmate privacy. Geez, people have lost their senses over this.

Ooooh! He had a cellmate the first time!!

Ooooh! He didn’t have a cellmate this time!!

Ooooh! How can it be that no one was watching him every second after he was legally off suicide watch!

Ooooh! He had regular issue bedding and not paper thin suicide watch issue bedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. And I haven’t seen one mention of them cutting him down.

"Barr strangled him with the bag pipes."

Oh come on. Everyone knows it was Miss Scarlett with the rope, in the library.

I don't know about the Feds, but most NY State's prisons had no camera inside cells. Those that were inside buildings, were only along the hallways. Before I retired, the only place that had inside cameras was the 200-bed building, specifically built to house long-term maximum security inmates who couldn't be placed in general population. The cameras were only in the halls, and not in actual offices, or cells. I retired almost 16 years ago, so it could have changed during that time. Inmates are notoriously litigious, and had cameras been in their cells, they would have filed lawsuits, and would have probably won, based on it being a violation of their privacy.

his alleged “suicide”

Interestingly, the term used in most of the articles is:

“APPARENT” suicide...

Why should they need to try? It is not like anyone will face any consequences for this murder. The powers that be have completely sanctioned it.
