Since Epstein was being held on charges but never convicted, his surviving family could file a wrongful death lawsuit in civil court with a substantially lower burden of proof... and win.
Yes Don’t know the delay between the death and the discovery. At night it should be preteen easy to know whose there and if they have good check-in procedures that would be another method. Maybe cameras at entry points ion that system wasn’t down also.
A few years ago I was at Graterford Prison in Penn and they even took our car keys.
I think Sessions was actually a more visible AG than Barr, who will retreat into his legal lair for another couple of weeks.
Maybe he’ll grace us with another bagpipe performance. Blowing hot air seems to be his forte.
Thanks to years of partisan, illegal (yes, I said it), and very unethical behavior by those in charge of DOJ, there is little trust by a large number of Americans in the institution.
This is sad. If Barr does what is right and necessary regarding the Russia hoax and soft coup, it will not restore confidence on the right and likely erode confidence on the left. If Barr does nothing it is the same in reverse.
He is in a Catch-22. Those under him continue to try and hide the truth, conceal the truth, and redirect even as “they” were not the responsible parties. They fail to see that they are destroying the institutions by protecting the individuals who did the damage and the previous administration and President.
I don’t see any way that this damage can be reversed at this point. The 4th Estate historically acted as a buffer against these shenanigans when they pursued truth - not politics, but that is no longer true.

Does Epstein even have a family? I have never seen any mention of it - his wiki page says nothing about a family.
My suspicion they are pursuing whether Trump asked Putin to kill him.

I agree. The damage will be permanent and lasting. And rightfully so. The most trusted agencies in the country failed to maintain that trust with the American people.

With Sessions, the RINO's had to jump in and prevent him being let go by Trump. That kind of showed their hand in keeping the status quo, when they usually hide behind the scenes and pull strings.
