2 years ago at a county Republican event, I met women who was Jewish and a retired lawyer from the State Department.
She was in the process of “coming out of closet” and telling her family and friends she was a Republican. LOL!
She told me when she first start working for State in the 80’s it was swamp. Over the years she watched it grow to massive. She was absolutely shocked we elected a man who would try to do a clean up.
