Delegates at the Democratic Socialists of America convention are being ridiculed on social media after videos of them interrupting their 'comrades' to complain of being 'triggered' by chattering crowds and the use of gendered pronouns went viral.
The 2019 DSA National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, concluded on Sunday but is still inspiring conversation online, particularly among those who are opposed to the Democratic Socialist ideals.
Social media users are particularly tickled by a clip where one anxious delegate complains that the room is getting too loud before another takes the microphone and slams the 'comrade' before him for referring to the group as 'guys'.

Triggered in my day and even until this day simply means annoyed or agitated. Using those words in place of triggered brings it into perspective and makes them look that much more foolish and idiotic.
This really would make a great SNL skit or a Sinefield episode as a few people have noted.
