“...Constitutionally protected right to have an abortion.”

Could someone please point to the exact Articleand section or the amendment that guarantees a right to have an abortion. I have read the Constitution many times and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen any language in it regarding a right to have an abortion. The only language that really can even remotely be construed to apply here is the Tenth Amendment. Since the Constitution doesn’t discuss regulations of abortion, the power to regulate abortion must belong to the states.

Of course I’m well aware of Roe v Wade and other case law regarding abortion, but it’s really a stretch on the part of the SCOTUS to find Constitutional protection for abortion. Those were just blatant political decisions. The real power to determine the legality of abortion lies with the states, via the Tenth Amendment.

since the taking of innocent human life is counter to abortion, the founders must have believed it violated the RIGHT TO LIFE as stated by Jefferson in the declaration.

I don’t know a philosopher or source from the 1700s that would advocate abortions. Most abortions were poison or instrument induced and hidden for the shame and sandal that might ensue. Now of course we have no shame.
