FULL TITLE: Man, 29, is charged with assault after being caught on video punching a protester, 61, at Donald Trump's Ohio rally and has his bond set at $10,000
A Kentucky man has been charged with assault after he was caught on video repeatedly punching a protester more than 30 years his senior outside an Ohio rally for President Donald Trump.
Dallas Frazier, 29, of Georgetown, was arrested on Thursday night and charged with misdemeanor assault in connection to the attack on an anti-Trump protester in Cincinnati.
Frazier appeared in court on Friday and had his bond set at $10,000.
Thousands attended the Thursday rally , which included speeches by Trump, Donald Trump Jr, Gov. Mike DeWine and Vice President Mike Pence.
Trump's speech was twice interrupted by protesters, who he seemed to blame on the city's Democratic mayor, John Cranley.
A criminal complaint by Cincinnati police says Frazier was in a car near the protesters outside and jumped out, shouting, 'You want some,' before repeatedly punching 61-year-old Mike Alter in the face, breaking his glasses.
Frazier was led away by authorities as protesters chanted 'Lock him up,' in a play on Trump supporters' chant of 'Lock her up' referring to Hillary Clinton.
In a phone interview with the station WCPO, Alter said the protest had been peaceful until Frazier pulled up to US Bank Arena in his red pickup truck and began yelling at the protesters.
Alter said some words to Frazier about he president and was struck at least three times in the head before another protester came to the victim's defense and police rushed over to arrest the perpetrator.
'He started just whaling on my head. I didn't go down, for what that's worth,' he told the station.

The Protesters were saying LOCK HIM UP, referring to the man who punched a protester.
That’s what it says in writing at least.
And I don’t give a damn what Trump supporters were saying or doing as it concerns this situation.

So you are blaming all Trump supporters for the actions of one person, who may or may not have been perpetrating a false-flag?
The Administration needs to hurry with the prosecutions. People are at the end and they see NO equal justice in sight, they will take matters into their own hands.
Which is why I’m sooooooooooo suspect of this and what the hell is going on. Now yea Trump was in town but still know what I mean? I wonder who was attacking who?
I don’t trust this story either. The media has told so many smears against Trump, and nothing is below them what they’ll try to pull. They blame him for everything, even for stuff they do.
A 29 yo whaling on the head of a 61 yo is just short of attempted murder in my book. The man could easily be in a coma now.
Misdemeanor? $10k bond? BFD. Who thinks this thug gives a damn about the consequences of a misdemeanor? It should be felony assault.
If a man (in my case it would be almost 40 years younger) says he’s going to stomp my head in, I would take that as a murder threat (because it is) and out comes my S&W. Life isn’t TV. People don’t endure those kinds of beatings and walk away.
To me it looks like the 61 yr old is doing the universal “come on do it” gestures.
I’m not condoning the younger guys actions, but it looks more like a mutual combat situation.

Nothing yet that proves this had anything to do with politics, could have been just road rage.

The first and only time I saw the video, I was disturbed by the sight of this young guy brawling with this clearly older guy. There are very few instances where that would be okay.
I didn’t see anything that would have justified it in that video. It looked like somebody who could not control his temper.
Sure, some older guys have big mouths and can be very blunt (even I fit that description at times), but the reaction did not match the presumed threat or injury to one’s ego. In short. I didn’t like it, and was hoping the younger man was not an obvious Trump supporter.
Now, if he was strolling through my stomping grounds, near Berkeley University, and Antifa swung a bike lock at his head, then yes, yes YES! That both guns blazing approach would be just what I’d want to see. I would love to see Antifa get their bells rung by a good fighter. This, alas, was not that.
