My Dad has made arrangements to donate his body as a cadaver to the local University Teaching Hospital.
What they’ll learn from a man who has outlived his liver has kidney stones and dementia is beyond me, but have at it, Dad!

Good for him. I'm considering that for myself. I am a recipient of a body part...just a cornea, but I really needed it. They told me it would come from someone my age or older.
So now I'm very old and in perfect health. My organs could really save a lot of lives.
I read about a mother who donated her perfectly formed stillborn baby to Harvard Medical School. She was, of course, devastated but said she could at least tell people her son went to Harvard.
