I didn’t know that about the mandatory wheelchair escort for new mothers. Why do you think she did it differently?
Personal vanity?
As much as I despise her parents, I have nothing in particular against Chelsea and her new family.
It’s always a good thing when a baby is born healthy and wanted. I have nothing ugly to say about that part.
Meanwhile, the mystery about Mr. Chelsea continues, unabated.
Maybe the wheelchair exit is not required by that medical facility? I don’t know who sets that rule; whether the hospital, their malpractice carrier, local or state ordinances. I just know that around here, it is the only way people leave the hospital from inpatient status.
And for infants (my daughter is a carseat certified NICU nurse), the hospital where she is employed will not allow a baby to leave the hospital without inspecting the carseat being used, and an RN puts the child in the seat before they leave the hospital.
“I didnt know that about the mandatory wheelchair escort for new mothers”
All four of my kids were in their mother’s arms who was rolled out of the hospital in a wheelchair. All were no-problem births.
Honestly, I don't think it's just for new mothers; I think a lot of hospitals, upon discharge of a patient, have the patient wheeled out to whatever is picking them up. Almost as a safety precaution in the event they might pass out.
He’s a semi-legal scheister like his father.
