Comic book. Not real. Thor not real. Batman not real. Only a comic and a movie.


Thor is not a comic book character. A comic book was created after the character Thor from Norse mythology. Most of the characters that appear in the comic book are not original to comic book as they come from the mythology surrounding the Norse gods. The comic book came later.

Ignorance is bliss, sometimes. Stupidity is never curable.

Obviously thor in the comic book is not the same norse god. So don't try to mix and match. Don't try to argue that 'thor' is real, next you'll argue Dracula in marvel is 'real' or authentic. All characters are creations entirely in a comic book and aren't the same characters in our realm of mythos.

Yes. Like Lewis and Tolkien, I was enamored of Norse Myth as a young boy. I read “The Sons of Odin” in third grade. I became interested in “Journey into Mystery with The Mighty Thor” because of that interest, not the other way around.
