It’s really a dumbass thing to do. The last Thor (Ragnarok) movie was one of my 3 favorite MCU movies.
I’ll likely still see it. Director will be the same one that did Ragnarok, and if it follows the comic book story of Jane becoming the god of thunder (from the little bit I’ve seen of it), I think it might have potential.
Having Valkyrie be gay is not really a surprise. I read somewhere that in the movie, she will be looking for a Queen. I presume that means she’s regent of new Asgard that is now located on earth (Norway, I believe). I did like her character introduced in Ragnarok.
I’m trying to keep an open mind.

This follows the Thor comics ... it’s not just the movies changing a character into a female. Jane Foster became “Thor” in 2014.
Instead of coming up with new, interesting movies, Hollywood just changes the male characters to female and calls it a day.
No imagination anymore.
“Thor” will become the next “re-made, re-cast, re-invented movie to be politically correct” movie that I will not see.

They did this briefly in the Comics.... stupid then, stupid now...
I suspect Marvel’s box office takes will start to dwindle.. just like the Comic Brand cratered when they let the SJW take over
