What about the damned watermelons’ welfare? The pigs at least get out from the event alive in one piece
I was thinking more of the children’s welfare.
“You have to carry this 10 pound greased watermelon all around that obstacle course in the 104 degree heat. And if you aren’t first across the finish line, you’re a loser. A LOSER - you hear me!!??”
I guess the kids can still head up to Cody, Wyoming where they have the rodeo every night during the summer. Including trying to catch the pig. Well - it’s been 20 years, I’m assuming they are still using a pig.
