Big crime, one of my ancestors was burned at the stake and his daughter was forced to start the fire.

His crime, he refused to recognized one of Crazy King Hank’s wives as a religious leader/icon.

I’ve read about Samuel Whittemore before, amazing man. Thanks for sharing, I had forgot about him and love reminders of amazing things that I’ve read before and seemed to have filed away in my brain.

I love history & genealogy, and you’ve peeked my curiosity and I would love to know more about your ancestor whose daughter was forced to light his execution-pyre by King Hank. What was your ancestor and his daughter’s names? When & where did this happen? Why did this happen? Also, is King Hank aka Henry viii? Or an earlier King Henry?
