Her brother played football for the Moline Maroons, and had to listen to the other teams call them the Morons. Lol
Actually, maroon is probably my favorite color on a car. In fact, the vette I had while dating, and for 4 yrs after getting married, was maroon. Jimmah Cahtah used his idea of a farm economy to tell me that I didn’t need it anymore.
My gramps thought that the 1953 Ford maroon color was the best he’d ever seen. His school colors were maroon and white. I’m partial to forest green myself.
