My dad and I were big fans of Stan Smith sneakers. Great to see Adidas still selling that brand. Of course, if I ever buy a new pair they have to feature the green trimming.

Only one sneaker? Does the little prince only have one leg?

Stan was a classy champion. Things were a little volatile, though, when he paired in doubles with Dennis Ralston..

Wow.
A convergence of sports and the Royal Family - two of the most meaningless things on the entire planet.

On January 28, 1986 I played a set of mixed doubles with Stan Smith at my indoor tennis club, Columbus Oh. He was just the nicest guy you could meet. We, of course won the first set (only because of him lol) and just getting ready to play the next, when it was announced that the Challenger had exploded, all left the courts to watch a small tv in the office. Wont forget that day.
