True. The Bond theme is awkward and worn out now.
It would almost seem that the Bond series could be revived if they adopted a “period piece” approach with everything out of the 50s and 60s. That means older cars, fashion, technology, real Soviets, sets. It could attract a whole new audience.
The bad news is they would probably remake Dr No, From Russia With Love, etc. Might be worth it though.
They might also rename SPECTRE as TRUMP.
