Even the Stand was lame. I rolled my eyes at that motorcycles because they get great gas mileage kind of thing. Any sane person would get a large pickup with massively more range. You can carry all you need, far less risk of wrecking and being mangled in a post apocalypse world with all the hospitals deserted.
Then when you find fuel at an old station, fill your tank, fill 15 gas cans.
King is a moron. Cojo and Misery were good, and the stories in Cat’s eye. James Woods was in Quitters Inc.
That was fantastic.
But the escape hatch for him usually turns into “then some evil magic thing happens”.
He has fallen far.
