If he was the Prince Phillip from back in the day, Harry probably never would have married her. He does not look like he has a lot longer on this earth.
I read something since I posted that, that Prince Phillip did tell him not to do it, but like you said, he is very old and feeble and probably doesn’t have the persuasion powers that he once held.
