I’m going nuts because I can’t find the schedule when he is suppose to give his speech. Do you know? I’ll kick myself if I miss because I know it’s going to be historic.

Mozart was probably Beethoven's biggest inspiration in music. A lot of Mozart seems like elevator music to me, however, while a lot of other is like fireworks. This is like fireworks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3rI-nFMFZE

Thank you for the link. Here’s a few of my favorites for Independence Day...

Anything by John Phillip Sousa

Eroica - Beethoven - This is a BBC production with a performance using period instruments inside of a dramedy. Highly recommended although it’s 1:24 -

Sergei Prokofiev : Alexander Nevsky, Op.78 Yuri Temirkanov / St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra - While I still prefer the Telarc version this is my second favorite. The movie is excellent as well.

Let’s not forget the venerable warhorse Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. This is the Telarc version in HD. Be VERY careful when you crank up your sub-woofer as the cannons in digital can and will destroy speakers and if they are good enough, break windows.

Finally, a salute to Cars and Freedom !

Hope you enjoy
