Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of preverts.
CGI garbage for the Asian markets!
You just don’t care about whose ass it is or why it’s farting.
1. Because movies are retreaded crap. No original ideas. Same old, same old.
2. Too expensive.
3. Streaming is better, cheaper, and you can watch the movies in your PJs.
The same Disney about to release an identical shot-for-shot CGI version of the cartoon Lion King?
Agreed.
Exactly. Because of my age, I am not their target audience. But beyond that, I’m not sure I live on the continent they are taregetting.
John Wick 3 did very well. Come up with original material instead of reboots, and maybe people will pay $18 for a box of popcorn.
I’m 77 ... look at the list of movies ... give me a break, why would I have ANY interest in any of this stuff. Too bad, I live in a senior community, when you go to the local cinema, there are only 5 or 10 people present. They’ve fixed the popcorn, fixed the seats, even put in a pub for beer and wine ... but they don’t have ONE good movie!
Clearly not enough Gay-Trans movies. /I hope they believe that.
how many times can they make Friday the 13th and Godzilla and old crap movies. Even Rocky is in the geriatric hospital and they still come out with a new version.
I hate to admit it, but my wife dragged me to the live action Aladdin and to my surprise I liked it.
My grown kids are of an age where when they were 3 or 4 had to listen to the Lion King soundtrack and watch the DVD over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over.
Because of that, Lion King has a special place in my psyche. A "live action" version may not be horrible.
Nothing in here about audiences getting sick of giving money to people who hate them and their values. Huck Follywood!
Maybe another Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic will help.
C'mon Hollywood, come up with some original stand-alone movie scripts and maybe we'll go back to the cinemas. Stop trying to re-make movies that were hits 30 years ago.
In the meantime, there's plenty of original old movies to discover on Netflix.
“Look out ... here comes the Spider-man”
The TV ads say he has a “Peter tingle” (not spider-sense, copyright 1962)
Same studio that laid an egg with the latest Dumbo release.
Need me a hot latte
John Wick 3 was really good.
