Which is mostly why I moved to a different part of the country.
I knew a guy that worked at a remote, overseas mining operation (huge operation). I think he was in the middle of doing a five-year stint there. He moved his family as close as possible and got to see them a few times a year.
But, at the end of it his plan was to buy a sailboat and sail around the world with his young family. Home school, etc. I hope he succeeded.
