Game tonight USA vs Guyana
Panama and T&T beat them in the last WCQ, so there’s no guarantee they make it out of the group.
LOL. You can’t be serious. Although I don’t like such comparisons given the physical strength and superior skills of men, the women’s game is much slower. It is not even close.

The women lost 5-2 to a U15 (13 and 14 year olds) boys team. And it wasn’t a national team.

USA wins the game 4-0 and has first place in Group D.
Whatever. Men’s team has gotten better. They came on fire in the second half and scored two goals in six minutes.
Now let’s see how the girls do against Sweden in the World Cup on Thursday.
It’s all relative. The men’s game is faster by at least two orders of magnitude and much more physical.
The women will face their first real test against Sweden. Promises to be a low scoring defensive game. I wonder if a loss would be better given the brackets. Facing the French in Paris in the quarters could make for a short tournament.
A win or tie against Sweden puts the US against Spain in the round of 16. A loss puts them against Canada or the Netherlands.

Getting excited about the US scoring against a team from a country whose total population is three-quarters of a million people is absurd.

It’s all relative skill wise. I can go to a NY Ranger game and treat it the same way I would do at a 13-14 year old ice hockey game. As long as the rules are applied to both teams equally. Reason I say this is the 13-14 year old boys ice hockey team I coached played the US women’s ice hockey team. Women play no check hockey. My team did. My kids couldn’t compete because they could not check. If they could, the women’s team would only get the puck out of their zone to ice it.
The best comparison is with tranny men playing women’s sports. Women cannot compete, but then again their own political correctness caused this.

I must say in Martino, Mexico may have finally found the coach that can take them to the top. They’ve always had the talent, but they never had a good coach to mesh that talent together.
