Fron what I’ve read, it’s as accurate historically as Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
The only reason it was made was because of 2020, to make Trump look racist as possible and of course to get whitey. I would say Linda Fairstein has one hell of a case for defamation.
Pretty much everyone involved with the case, including the victim, disagree with the fiction in the Netflix series, except those who benefit from those criminals being released.

My father use to be an NYPD cop and I have a few relatives who currently are, and it’s absolutely unreal what went on in that case. He says the media deliberately ignored him back then to play up the racist cop angle and said they were bragging about, even bragging about on the visitor phones in jail and now they are MILLIONAIRES, given $41 million AND recently if you can believe it, given an additional $3.9 million. I am so glad my taxes are allowing attempted murderers and rapists to live large....

Yes I read that, I’m so glad she wrote about this again. She did a few years ago but, now she’s going into more detail in 2 parts. What the media is doing with this movie is utterly disgusting, and it’s all to get at Trump. Oprah treating these punks as national heroes is as vomit inducing as it gets.Let’s see them take lie detector tests if they’re so innocent, see if all 5 pass. And we never hear about the other victims of these punks do we, including the guy who also had his head bashed in.
There is a not insignificant portion of this nation that is psychotic & delusional when it comes to matters of culture.
The bridge between us vs them is worse than it was even in the civil war IMO...I see no sane & rational way out of this.

We started watching this and stopped the minute we realized the purpose which is exactly your post. First, they portray these kids as clean cut innocent black kids, without counsel, emotionally and physically assaulted by the police. Second,t, they portrayed Linda as a psychotic racist, asking up evidence. I was appalled at the “treatment of these kids. Then the BIG REVEAL......a TV interview of Donald Trump in 1989, in which he recalled the sheer brutality of the assault on this woman, praised the NYPD and referred to these kids as monsters. (Paraphrased). One of the families was watching it and said, “just what we need a billionaire white guy telling us the truth”. (Paraphrased)
It’s outrageous what is going on in this country, it absolutely is Goebbels type propaganda that maligns people - in this case Trump, Linda Fairstein, white people and Trump supporters - solely to benefit a political agenda and what’s scary is people buy into it. If you go to Youtube and read the comments on the trailer of this movie, people immediately BELIEVE this tripe, they just immediately believe whatever the media throws at them without taking the time to read about the facts. The left constantly takes advantage of this and it drives me nuts!
I saw the ad for it on Netflix and I don’t know why, I just had a feeling it would not an accurate account of the true story. Perhaps, seeing the year it was made, was my clue.
I have been leaving as many comments as possible to tell the truth about this sickening attack and rape. We need to do more along these lines to fight back against the lying left wing narrative. Get busy people!
