As one who is old enough to have seen the Bruins beat the Blues for the 1970 Stanley Cup, I hand it to the Blues on this victory. They came into Boston Garden and totally shut the Bruins down on offense. Not just with their goaltender but with the relentless pressure that had the Bruins misfiring on all cylinders.
I don't feel bad about the Bruins loss because the Blues decidedly outplayed them. Wasn't even close.

Well said, Sam. I'm just mystified why a great team like the Bruins failed - over three periods - to figure out how to break through the Blues' relentless pressure.
And I'm (slowly) learning that 'home ice advantage' doesn't mean much. At least it didn't in the Bruins-Blues series.
Congrats to the Blues.
