They speculate that this asteroid is a ‘stripped’ planetary core, solid metal of some kind..............

Methinks that if that much metal were to be dumped on the global market, the value of that asteroid would crash to below $1 quadrillion.

Any disturbing the asteroid would cause climate change or something. A dim judge would stop any attempt to do something useful.
