I liked it. After seeing it a second time, I liked it more, sans as you mention the stupid homosexual scene at the beginning and the female PMS Amazon scene at the end.
But I have to hand it to the writers: they didn’t just wrap up THREE movies, they wrapped up (I think) SEVENTEEN if you include “Thor,” “Captain America,” “Ant Man,” “Iron Man,” “Guardians,” “Doctor Strange,” “Captain Marvel,” and the “Avengers”. That’s some feat.
Me, too, Larry. I liked them all. My favorites were the first Avengers and Winter Soldier. My least favorites were Thor II and Age of Ultron. Still, my least favorite here were better than most movies I saw in the past ten years or so.
Especially the war stories that are supposed to be real. Nothing ticks me off like seeing something in a movie that is supposed to be real with some late 20th Century/early 21st Century crap in it, like Pearl Harbor or Dunkirk. Or making up stuff that didn’t happen, like Churchill talking to the commoners on the Tube.
They should hire you as a consulting historian!
21 movies. Though it didn’t truly “wrap” them up since the next phase starts in a couple of weeks. But it bring all the stories to one place, where they will now spawn anew.
