Why are you pushing lies on FR?

“Constand initially told police about the assault in 2005, a year after the assault occurred. Former Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor at the time decided not to file charges in the case, and Constand and Cosby settled a civil lawsuit for $3.38 million in 2006.”

He was convicted by a jury of his peers LONG AFTER the settlement after the DA filed charges regarding the “LATE-JANUARY 2004” assault against Andrea Constand.

I remember hearing about all the time he spent at the Playboy Mansion, and thinking uneasily that didn’t square with his image, especially as I got older and realized that it was largely a celebrity cat house.

When he was younger and was there, it was a “hip” thing (or at least came across that way)

I always thought he would be the kind of person who would throw a hissy fit and have some poor schlub fired because he only had two bottles of water on a set instead of three.

Ha, your first source supports exactly what I said.

Doofus !

1: Constand originally said March of 2004... but provided NO DATE.

2: She later moved her claim up to January of 2004... but still provided NO DATE.

3: You would think that Constand would be competent enough to know the difference between Spring and Winter...

4. The exact date of the alleged crime is still unknown !

Why is that ?

Were there no phone records... ‘Hey con, why don’t you come over to my house late tonight. The wife is away again...’

NO PROVEN DATE = NO CRIMINAL CONVICTION IN ANY NORMAL, NON CORRUPT COURT OF LAW.

——-

“Constand, after originally telling police she believed the incident occurred in March 2004, has testified that Cosby assaulted her in January of that year at his home in Cheltenham, PA. The exact date of the incident is unknown, but she and authorities have estimated it to be sometime before late January, when a relative visited her from Canada.”

Those liars would have probably would have slide it back even further if there had not been that massive rock in the way...

December 30, 2012 - 12 years !

“The time frame is significant because the District Attorney’s Office charged Cosby on December 30, 2015. The statute of limitations for sexual assault crimes in Pennsylvania is 12 years.”

So you’re asserting a conspiracy to deprive Cosby of his rights as an innocent man (no substance to the charges whatsoever?l)?

Proof?

1. Conviction of a crime without a specific date for said crime.

2. Using evidence from a civil trial against him in criminal court.
- 5th amendment applies to criminal cases, not civil.
- State declined to prosecute Mr. Cosby on criminal charges.
- This allowed them to obtain testimony from Mr. Cosby in the Civil Case.
- The State then used this evidence against Mr. Cosby in the criminal case.
- The appellate court jumped through hoops to allow this clearly illegal conduct by the State.
- Apparently even to the point of denying the prior prosecutor from testifying.

Note: In return for that massive cash settlement, the defendant most likely agreed not to prosecute Mr. Cosby in the future...

Was the money returned?

3. The allowing of the five witnesses to testify to Mr. Cosby’s bad character.
- I have not evaluated this one in detail yet, but these were probably all claims well past their statutory limits.
- all the specific stories I have read lack evidence.

4. There was a clear attempt to get Mr. Cosby to fork over a substantial amount of money to the complaints that they were not entitled to.

5. The case against Mr. Cosby was exceedingly weak and without much direct evidence of any kind. There was no timely police report/exam - so any physical evidence of said crime was long since lost.

6. There had been a massive, continuous defamation campaign against Mr. Cosby in the media touting extremely nebulous claims, claims for which all exculpatory evidence would have been lost in the mists of time...

— Very similar behaviors as certain parties attempt to frame Mr. Kavanaugh in the recent Supreme Court hearings. Vague charges with no specific time.

I have to disagree with you vociferously regarding your comparison to Kavanaugh. That’s straw man at its best, heinous deflection at its worst in defense of a predator.

I know something about predators. They exhibit patterns. I also concede that our justice system does not protect against predators. This may change in our tech & surveillance age, but in terms of the former ‘Cosby era’...just because a predator doesn’t leave physical evidence which persists for decades (bodies, e.g. serial killer) does not dismiss the fact that there were not just a handful...not merely a dozen...but in fact over FOUR DOZEN women who came forward and many with strikingly-similar stories, plus at least one of whom refuted any fiscal claim against Cosby.

I did not follow this case closely other than reading a handful of accusers’ stories at the time and hoping the justice system would do its job. Last I heard there were only a dozen accusers. FIFTY. Something smells.

I’m not going to debate this other than to say that if you think that you’re smarter than Cosby’s high-priced lawyers, write it up and publish it.

I’ll read it, but at this point you seem to be yelling ‘fire’ in an empty stadium.

Actually I made the comparison and it’s accurate.

You see I understand predatory behavior - and what you see on Kavanaugh and Cosby and Thomas and Bork and Trump are predators.

Cosby has been investigated multiple times by multiple DAs about these accusations and EVERY time the DA did not file charges because of lack of evidence.

It wasn’t until there was a SJW whisper campaign full of gossip and innuendo that an enterprising DA, Democrat, claimed she’d reopen the case against Cosby and file charges. She won, she did and a jury, already brainwashed with wall to wall coverage of one sided stories and attacks convicted him. It was a circus trial in all aspects and had Kavanaugh been indicted (and he would’ve been as they were discussing strategies for just that to stop the nomination process) Kavanaugh would be in jail too.

Cosby is in jail now purely because of a political hit as part of political warfare. As we’ve now seen because of the Smollett case justice is no longer blind and it’s a black time for America.

This one is not a credible witness.

“Mesereau challenged Dickinson’s testimony, pointing out her description of the assault differed wildly from the Lake Tahoe encounter with Cosby she described in her memoir.

Holding up a copy of her book, Mesereau cited passages in which she described rebuffing Cosby’s advances in Lake Tahoe, then “popping two Quaaludes and going to sleep” alone in her own hotel room.

Dickinson acknowledged that she concocted stories in the book in order to get a much-needed paycheck.”

Are you so desperate to make a hysterical point that you will cite a reference like ABC News which takes her statements COMPLETELY out of context?

I wrote prior that I would read your book if you wrote one about how Cosby was railroaded and all these women are money-grubbing ambulance-chasers...since you’re obviously smarter than Cosby’s high-priced lawyers.

Why so desperate to misrepresent facts?

I KNOW writers who were screwed by their publicists, their publishers and their so-called ‘ghost writers’ when it came to presenting a story the publisher labeled “marketable” and with “limited liability”.

This is why my own book will be self-published. I have as little faith in publishers as the media and hollyweird.

You would do well to have similar consideration...

Waiting for your book on Cosby’s miscarriage of justice...

Your citation of this ridiculous article is equally hysterical to promote your myopic interpretation of events.

If you truly believed the tripe you’re shoveling here, you wouldn’t stoop to such desperation.

I’ve expended much too much time on attempting to validate your claims and your own continued citations are undermining your case. Irony: You sound like a liberal promoting climate change.

DO YOU REALIZE THAT???!!!

Whateva, dude. Perhaps you should expose your bias in this ‘matter’...because clearly there’s some bias in thar somewhar...

Sorry, that was meant to be a reply to you... Accidentally selected the wrong post to reply to.

I must have hit a nerve with that predator.

I got not one, but two angry replies from it.

Far too much projection in that response !

In any case, apparently they cannot find a publisher... so they are going to write a book on some unknown topic, and then ‘self-publish’...

LOL
