The following is an excerpt from “Unmasked: Big Media’s War Against Trump,” out today from Humanix Books.
In July 2017, the media exploded over a meeting in June 2016 at Trump Tower between Donald Trump Jr. and Natalia Veselnitskaya, the alleged “Kremlin-backed lawyer” (she wasn’t Kremlin-backed) at which Russians promised “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. But before we get into this coverage, let’s stop and consider: So bloody what? At one stage or another, there were probably a hundred meetings between Team Hillary and God only knows who, from the candidate on down, discussing dirt on Donald Trump. It’s what campaigns do. It’s also what journalists do.
If the evidence showed that this Russian woman was knowingly an agent of the Russian government offering ammunition to tilt the election and if there was any explicit or even implicit quid pro quo on the part of Team Trump to alter Russia policy in a favorable direction, you had a story, and a big one, too. Indictments and impeachment would follow, and deservedly so.
If. But there wasn’t a lick of evidence. Trump administration policy toward Russia was tougher than Obama’s! Still the “if” justified the endless speculation that Trump was probably a criminal. America would be faced with the nightmare that it had elected a traitor. Every mini-scoop was inflated into the latest contender in the urgent liberal question “Will this finally get Trump impeached and removed?” The media obsession was palpable. The evidence of their fever could be found on your own smartphone.

I heard a while back that an Arkansas state lawmaker wanted to REMOVE the Clinton name from the Little Rock airport. I guess that’s not too bad for them though, after all there’s a landing strip over in Mena that forever bears their name.

Yes it will be a best seller.
I actually believe that a broad swath of the public knows what the Clinton's have done and a significant number of them don't care for either partisan reasons or apathy. Our side wants justice and if that dosen't come it will shatter their dream of a political solution, and frankly this isn't bad, IMO. Politics is no longer a viable option for us in this post-truth America. The crippled Trump presidency is all the proof I need.

p.s. Have any extra good starting pitchers in you farm system? The Pirates' "starters" have something like an E.R.A. of 10.00 in the past month or so. Our horrible games over the past week have averaged around four hours. Watching baseball these days in 'da Burgh is agonizing.

Not a whole lot different in Queens these days, altho I've literally watched every game this year. I’ve been away from the game for a while and I’m still trying to get used to the way pitchers are used today. Six innings for a starter, followed by the bullpen? Weird stuff. What gives with that? We have a rookie, Pete Alfonso, who is fun but how much of his power is related to a jacked-up baseball is anyone’s guess. I’m thinking he’s like Josh Bell? who looks like the real deal to me. I read we have a few lefty pitchers in the minors who we could see in September, providing the GM doesn’t trade them away for broken down, has beens (Robinson Cano). At any rate I’m looking at going to ‘da Burgh in early Aug to catch the Mets for a game or two. Any good restaurants ideas? Danke.

I believe that The Russian woman had to have a waiver to get into the country for the Trump Tower meeting that was provided by Obama.
After the meetings she went back to Russia,and now has been charged with a crime which means now that the truth has been exposed and she would be arrested if she set foot back in the U.S. you won’t be seeing her anytime soon,too many questions she would have to answer,why did Obama give you a waiver to get into the country in the first place?
