No, man. Italians are “Latin.” Old school. And there was no “X” in Latin, either, unless you were counting to 10. We were “X” before Malcolm. Ten X’s and you became a C for Centurion.

I’ll draw the line at being accused of appropriating culture for eating veal parm, bocaccinis, spinach and sausage, strombolis, etc.

...great post...!!my grandmother (Napolitano..!) and my grandfather (Romano..!) came to this country with nothing much more than the clothes on their backs... made great lives for themselves and their offsprings... interestingly, Latin has no “zero”.... and how they built magnificent aquaducts and viaducts, etc. with what they had (NO computers...!) still boggles the imagination....Viva chianti...!
