Is Tom Brady thinking this season could be his last?
The six-time Super Bowl champion's latest tweet, quoting the Jay-Z track My 1st Song, sent New England Patriots fans into a frenzy as he appears to be thinking retirement.
Treat my first like my last, and my last like my first! Brady wrote to go along with several photos of himself participating in minicamp Tuesday.
Though the tweet appeared to be fairly innocuous, Brady didnt offer much of an explanation about the message and it made fans contemplate the end of the quarterbacks career.
Brady turns 42 in August and has previously stated he wants to keep being the Patriots quarterback well into his 40s.

Doesn’t matter, the strike will finish it all.

Who can blame him? He’s not a kid anymore...he surely doesn’t need the money...and he doesn’t want to slowly slide into oblivion as too many talented athletes do.

That’s the thing about Tom... He’s really a good guy and his leaving would allow other players and teams a chance to go to the Patriots Invitational.... Formerly known as the Super Bowl.

That’s the problem with athletes and especially Super-athletes.
Their careers are essentially over, when others their age have careers that are just starting to take off.
These athletes usually have to find another career, like Hollywood acting or go back to school and get a real education.................

And there's the opportunity of endorsements.Porsche...Cartier...the Australian Tourist Commission...

Did you hear he trademarked the term Tom Terrific? Mets fan are going crazy over the gall of it. I say its another example of the incompetence of the Mets organization for not thinking of it first....

Since the strike is next year, this year sounds like a good last one.

"...and he doesnt want to slowly slide into oblivion as too many talented athletes do."
Kurt Warner - dragging a mediocre Cardinals team into the Super Bowl after having a great statistical year - then hangs it up.
THAT'S how you want to go out.

Did you hear he trademarked the term Tom Terrific? Mets fan are going crazy over the gall of it. Some years ago a man named Nissan...not sure if that's a first name or a family name...bought the rights to "nissan.com"
I think he was in the electronics field but am not certain.Long story short..Nissan Motors launched a thousand lawsuits against the guy claiming rightful ownership.
And as for Tom Seaver...as good as he was TB12 has a stronger claim to "Tom Terrific" than Seaver does.

I think they could potentially live just fine off of Mrs. Tom Brady’s(Gisele Bundchen) income.

"Doesnt matter, the strike will finish it all." Yep! That's the optimistic view... At a minimum a 2-year strike should get the salaries back to the minimum-wage level that would be much more in line with "salary vs productivity"...
On the down side, if the NBA and NFL collapsed, the countries prison systems would be inundated...
