I live in a suburb about 20 miles outside of LA and the curious thing is that my experience has been that the overwhelming demographic of people I see that are homeless are white males (25-50)

I live and work in an area that is now easily populated by 50% Hispanic.

I have noticed that as well. Plus many of the beggars on the streets are now white males who speak English with an American accent. Maybe white males are the last ones hired. Maybe these men used to have businesses but were undercut by other businesses hiring illegal labor. Maybe they couldn’t afford the ridiculous LA rents and didn’t want to live in an apartment with 19 roommates, like illegals do. Not sure the reasons, but like you, I’ve definitely noticed it.
