Until the Judiciary Committee in the House draws up charges and commences with hearings on impeaching Trump, they can talk all day long about all of the lies, crimes and nefarious things they claim Trump has committed and don't have to provide any proof of it or justify their rhetoric.
The democRATS will talk a good game to the Left flank of their base as long as it keeps them appeased. The media supports them.
They will need to either sh*t (impeach) or get off the pot (not impeach) before the 2020 elections.
If they can string out the narrative that Trump is guilty of highs crimes and misdemeanors for the next 18 months without actually impeaching him, that will give their radical base some red meat to chew on.
I think that the intensity and urgency of all the democRATS' impeachment talk right now has less to do with what Trump has allegedly done to be impeach over and more to do with trying to muddy the waters before Barr releases unclassified evidence that the democRATS tried to remove Trump via a deliberate, non-military coup.
IOW, they are panicking and desperate to suck all of the oxygen out of the spy gate and coup attempt investigations by making a big splash in the media about the impending Trump impeachment.
They hope the media will impeach Trump because they can’t.
Back in the times of the massive marching army.
Timing was everything.
Steady pace to keep the phalanx together.
Pick up the pace too soon and they are tired before the engagement.
If their left flank is out of formation, so much the better. When one of them panics there is little chance of escape and taking others down with them.
We are on a long march to just one battle of this war.
