What do they cost these systems?

I doubt they claim unemployment.
I doubt they would even try to make a claim under workman’s comp.

They usually live on minimally maintained dirt roads. When they use a vehicle, it’s usually a van and they travel as a group to be more efficient so they don’t put a lot of wear and tear on the roads. Police, fire ambulance? They don’t use public schools. Guess you could say they’re very conservative.

They don’t use all these systems so they don’t feel they should have to pay for them.

Their metal buggy wheels, metal horse shoes, and metal tires on farm equipment destroy the highways.

In Lancaster County, PA the roads through the Amish areas are wonderfully paved and fun to drive, with beautiful views and many turns. They are amazing to jog but you need to be alert as there’s no shoulder. All-in-all they are the best rural roads I’ve encountered anywhere.

Out there the roads aren’t called “asphalt” but “macadam”.
