As far as the religious aspect, Amish are pretty far from the true Gospel.Had good friends who were Mennonite and they and the Amish do not follow correctly New Testament teaching. You are correct. Overall, though, they are far more moral and upright than anyone else I have ever known.

They have morals and codes. None of that saves.
