VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Reuters) - The gunman who killed 12 people at a Virginia Beach municipal building before dying in a gun battle with police was identified on Saturday as a disgruntled city engineer and co-worker of most of the victims. All but one of the victims from the mass shooting in the coastal resort community were employed by the city, officials said at a news conference, while the other was a contractor seeking a permit. Four people were wounded.
The gunman, DeWayne Craddock, had worked for the city’s public utilities department for about 15 years, Virginia Beach Police Chief James Cervera said at a news conference.

and black..that’s something the commies wont mention, if he were white that is all we would hear about..that ALL Mass shooters are white, but this guy is black and Democrat..but it seems from the victim list he was an equal opportunity murderer, a true scum bag

And none of us would be mentioning his color if the press NEVER mentioned color, but they do!!

Joseph Scott, an engineering technician, said he exchanged pleasantries with the quiet, 40-year-old certified professional engineer for the city in the bathroom shortly before the carnage.
“I said, ‘How are you doing?’ He said he was doing OK,” Scott remembered. “I asked, ‘Any plans for the weekend?’ And he said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘Well, have a good day.’ And he said the same to me.”
Scott went home for the day. There was no sign of what was to come.

What was his plan?

I have to throw the BS flag up on the Engineer claim.
No way. Engineer’s don’t have this kind of aberrated behavior, ….. no way. This guy may have been given the Title of “Engineer” for work classification?. I would like to see if anyone verified his Resume or credentials.
My guess...…he’s just another Affirmative Action successful candidate! That’s my guess.
It’s horrible what happened. 12 people went to work and never made it back home. Sad.
They’re also not mentioning the weapon used.

I used to watch Engineer Bill on TV when I was a Kid. I won a Frisbee from him at the opening of a local Grocery Store.

The DC sniper team (also mass shooters) were black - and the actual triggerman (the 17 year-old) was an illegal alien as well - but that is never reported.
Did the guy graduate from an engineering college? In the US, anyone can call himself an engineer. That’s why their pay is so low and their hours are so long.
He killed blacks, so I don’t believe race was an issue. It is possible that he was going to be let go (the news says he was still a current employee), and if that is the case he may have known he’d never work again.
