Chinese government censors embedded in Hollywood are investigating near every movie. The purpose is to make sure no movie consists anything resembling anti-Communust agitation and or anything negative on China. Hollywood actually adopted to it and self censoring for quite some time to meet their demands.
Why nobody sees a problem here?
That happened in the 1930’s before W.W. II, the Nazi’s had a guy in Hollywood that did the same thing or Hollywood movies would not be shown in Germany were they made a lot of money.
Up until recently China’s investors were fronting a lot of the production money there, so they called the shots.
