Thank You for posting CondoleezzaProtege :)
I want to see a mass organized movement of Christian churhces of all denomonations that pledges to end orphans and forever-foster-care kids in their state, with congregations pledging the congregation’s support to families in the congregation willing to adopt. I want to see the people, not the government doing this.
I do not see the government as the epitome of the American people. I believe the true greatness of the American people is the people, acting together with their Liberty and freedom, not the government.
I visited an aunt recently who I had not seen in while. Her daughter had adopted a baby. My 80 year old uncle has dementia. Every time he sees the baby he asks, why is he black?. The point is my Alabama cousin adopted a black baby for two reasons; the baby needed a home and my cousin could provide it. These are very conservative and very religious people who I envy for their faith, Alabama is not necessarily the racist state its made out to be.
