The following isn't intended as a personal attack, only as constructive criticism, since you've taken this from discussion of SpaceX to who's better able to judge what/who's best able to explore the final frontier.

From your profile page, as you suggested I read, you might need to replace your 'BS' detector, but other than that, you sound decent enough, and admittedly accomplished a lot - but then you're just someone posting on the inteweb.

Oh, and you're lack of appreciation for what the private sector is accomplishing in space isn't too indicative of someone with your professed level of accomplishment. I'm a patent holder and pilot myself.

Yeah, trashing up the pristine space environment around earth is an issue, but it's an issue if well managed and shouldn't prevent us from furthering the advancement of mankind.

I wonder how much space debris the Chinese government created when they blew up their own satellite, during an AS test, or how much debris is from the US and Russians, as compared to private launches.

I don't fault you for your criticisms or concerns, but let's be fair.
