LOL. No way Pelly is a conservative. I’m not a big fan of his replacement (Jeff Glor, who was also fired from the same position), but Jeff was a breath of fresh air compared to the daily bias of Mr. Pelly.

My take on this is that Pelly is just looking to excuse his own poor performance. I cheered the day he was fired.
