We don’t even have a launch vehicle, how are we supposed to get to the Moon in 2024?
Its that SLS, a monster booster, but it keeps being delayed. Was supposed to have flown first a couple of years ago, now they are HOPING to try it next year.
I believe they have announced their plans to use commercial launchers to reach the moon, and Elon is grinning widely.
I think we need a location for the detention facility for Obama and Jarrett.
The Moon will do nicely.
We might have the heavy-lift rocket, but is it “man-rated”. We have the crew capsule, but I’m not sure if that is yet “man-rated”. Then, of course, you’d need to design, test & build a series of lunar landers. Yeah, that schedule is a bit tight. But you need a goal.
